Upcoming Scheduled MOU Membership Meetings


Negotiations are moving forward at a rapid pace and coming to a conclusion. We anticipate reaching a tentative agreement by the week of June 10th. Therefore, at the direction of your Board of Governors EAA Negotiating Team is working towards hosting ratification meetings at EAA offices located at 2911 W. Temple St. Los Angeles, CA. 90026 (Google Maps).

Meetings are being planned for:

  • Wednesday, June 12th at 12:00pm  
  • Wednesday, June 12th at 5:00pm
  • Thursday, June 13th at 12:00pm
  • Thursday, June 13th at 5:00pm
  • Saturday, June 15th at 10:00am
  • Saturday, June 15th at 12:00pm
  • Saturday, June 15th at 2:00pm

A summary of the tentative agreement reached with the city will be discussed at the meeting and information will be provided at that time (View EAA Calendar).

ONLY dues-paying members will be permitted to attend the meetings and vote, however, non-dues payers will be permitted to attend and vote if they come to the meetings and complete an application to become a dues-payer. Simultaneously, ballots will be mailed and counted by a third party neutral, the American Arbitration Association (AAA).

Ballots will be mailed to dues-payers on June 12th. Ballots must be returned by mail no later than 8am to the AAA P.O. Box indicated on the ballots no later than 8am on Thursday, June 27th. In order for ballots to be counted instructions accompanying the ballot must be followed.
