East Valley High to Host Second LAMDL Tournament of the Year
Last month, the University of Southern California hosted over 130 teams in what turned out to be the Los Angeles Metropolitan Debate League’s biggest tournament to date. The 2015-2016 season rolls on, only this time at East Valley High School in what should be another cracking round of Los Angeles’s youngest and brightest exchanging wits and quips. Whether you choose to spectate or participate, your support would mean the world to the hundreds of young men and women stepping to the podiums the weekend of November 13-14th.
LAMDL Needs Volunteers! An estimated 450 co-eds from 22 high schools across Southern California will be participating in one or more competitions this year and the LAMDL needs help. Whether you can judge a couple of rounds or the entire tournament, your time as a volunteer will make it possible for students to participate in this important event. If you are interested in volunteering as a debate judge, contact Cameron Ward at email@example.com for more information.
