2nd Annual Tommy Scott Memorial Car Show

eaa_logo_shield_2c_500A week from tomorrow, the Association of Airport Employees (AAE) will be hosting its second ever car show in memory of fallen officer Tommy Scott, who was killed in the line of duty at the age of 35. Every year since his untimely death in 2005, his fellow Los Angeles Airport Police officers have conducted an informal run around LAX in his honor, the proceeds of which went to the Tommy Scott Memorial Scholarship Fund.

This, the second car show raised in Tommy Scott’s memory, is yet another effort to do more good for the community. There are a number of ways you can contribute to this effort. Attendance is free to the general public and your presence, itself, is a show of support. If you have a prized show car stashed away in your garage, you can enter it into the car show for just $25. The registration fee goes to a charitable cause and you are entered to win a number of amazing floor prizes.

The  Association of  Airport  Employees Club (AAE) was founded in 1967 as a social and benefits organization, administered by Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) Department employees.

AAE promotes the Department and provides support for LAWA employees and adjacent local communities by sponsoring various projects and activities. AAE meetings are open to all LAWA employees and are held the first Tuesday of each month. Meetings are usually held in the Construction & Maintenance lunchroom at Admin West. Meetings may be rescheduled when a Holiday falls on the first week of the month.
