The Executive Employee Relations Committee

The Executive Employee Relations Committee (EERC) provides bargaining instructions to the City's negotiatior (almost always the CAO) and makes recommendations to the city council. The five member committee consists of the mayor, the president of the city council, the president pro tempore of the city council, and the chair of the council's Finance and Personnel Committees. Any other interested council members may attend these meetings, which are also attended by the CAO. The EERC typically meets early Tuesday mornings before the regular council meeting.
