Greg West

Executive Director

Prior to becoming the Executive Director, Gregory West worked as a compliance and jurisdictional officer for IBEW Local 11 in Los Angeles for the last five and a half years. During this time Mr. West performed compliance at LACCD, LAUSD, LAX, the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, and many other projects covered by Project Labor Agreements in Los Angeles County. In addition, Mr. West was actively engaged in institutional self-defense against other trades attempting to perform electrical work.  Mr. West was instrumental in a jurisdictional victory over solar/photovoltaic installations that has resulted in over one million man hours to date for IBEW members in Los Angeles County.  Before working for IBEW Local 11, Mr. West worked for the Ironworkers Trust Fund in Pasadena, and was a wage and hour litigation associate at the law firm of Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld in Los Angeles.

         Mr. West is looking forward to working for EAA saying, “I am excited to begin working for such a prestigious organization as the EAA. My focus will be to ensure that members of the EAA have the respect they deserve on the job and security in retirement after their public service is done.” 

         Mr. West received a bachelor’s degree in History from Cal State Fullerton, and a Juris Doctorate from Hofstra University in New York. He lives in Azusa with his wife and three children.
